Long time no see!

It's been a while since I uploaded last time.
I gratuated from my school last month and I go to a driving school almost every day now.
So I'm relatively busy. Driving is a little difficult for me. I struggle with it.
By the way I'm thinking of applying for working holidays to UK or France, however, I need money for that.
I'm going to work as a temporary worker or part-time worker for a year in order to make money、but I know that the present world is in a deep recession, which can make it difficult....
Anyway I just do my best for my dreams!

Greek riot

This was actually for an examination for my school. It took some time to make, so I'll upload this.

News Story Summery

In Greek the youth hold a demonstration against that a boy was shot to death by a policeman on December 7th. The incident took place the day earlier when a group of youth threw stones at a police car in which two police officers were. One of the officers shot some bullets, three of which hit the boy and died. The incident happened in a place where clashed between the police and the youth often breaks out, so his death poured oil on the flames and the nationwide riot broke out in the country. Thousands of people, mostly young, destroyed shops, set fire to some banks, fought against the police. Approximately 20 young people were arrested by now throughout the nation.

My opinion
I think this is a very deep issue because the students are discontented not only the incident but also some political issues such as corruption, low wages, high unemployment. I wonder why such a riot happened. The incident is actually terrible, but the officer doesn’t need kill the boy and the students don’t need riot, leaving the country dangerous. It must impact its economy so seriously that the unemployment increases more. The problem is that the police and the young dislike each other. So awful the riot is, but it shows that the youth is interested in politics and takes action to improve their society. Surely their way to change the politics is wrong, I think, but I have to admit the fact of their interests in the politics and what they take an action, which Japan hasn’t seen for long times.

In the future
This kind of crisis must break out again as long as they try to solve the problem between the police and the youth.

MONSIEUR IN HK AND SINGAPORE

I participated in the Kagoshima International Youth Exchange Programme between Kagoshima and Hong Kong and Singapore from 31st Oct to 11th Nov as one of the Kagoshima delegates. This programme is organised by Kagoshima Prefecture and has a long history.

For the first part of the journey we visited Hong Kong, where I met my friends from HK who had visited Kagoshima last summer as HK delegates. I was very happy to see them all again. And I was very excited about what was going on in HK.

Talking about Hong Kong, it was too crowded, dirty and air-polluted, though the islands were very attractive, maybe, because of business of the streets and that all the people I met in HK were fairly nice. HK was a colony of the UK, however, I was surprised that the region was more China-like than I expected.

As part of the programme I visited one of the HK delegates’ house. There I learnt what a home in HK is like. He lived in an apartment owned by the government and the rooms were not so large, because HK is a small and populated region. I was surprised that his parents didn’t speak English at all! I thought all people in HK can speak English well. Therefore, sadly, I couldn’t talk with them.

I was very happy to have a wonderful time in HK. I was going to miss them very much, only the time to leave had come. With a warm farewell, we left the place with many memories. Then we headed to Singapore.

To tell the truth I was uneasy, for I didn’t know anyone in Singapore, comparing that I had some friends in HK and some of the Kagoshima delegates actually seemed tired. As I expected, we didn’t communicate with people in Singapore so much as the ones in HK. One reason was, I think, their pronunciation. It was quite difficult to understand for me. I barely communicated with some of them. Yet I made friends with a woman, one of the delegates from Singapore in 2005. I asked her many times about the food of Singapore.

We had a home stay programme there and spent almost half of the time in the Fine City. My host was a fire fighter, who got married but his wife is working in Tokyo. He took me to various places like Sentosa, a resort island, China town and so on. I talked relatively a lot with the man about Singapore. He was a very kind, nice person, so I had a good time there, although now the very long substantial trip is over.

The best thing about the programme for me was that I met many people and made friends with them again. I will keep in touch with them and I’d like to visit the countries to see my friends some day. I will never forget this great tour. Finally I’d like to thank all the people who were involved in this programme.

I had a great week!

16 Hong Kong guys who are taking care of my friends and me next November visited Kagoshima last week.

Some delegates of Kagoshima including my school friends and me invited them.

They can speak English fluently, since Hong Kong was a colony of the UK until 1997 so I could comunicate with Englsih and make friends with them. Though I'm a quiet person, I talked relatively a lot about Japan and Hong Kong and learned a lot about their homeland.

How considerate and nice guys they were! 'Cause they spoke to us so that we didn't feel bored.

We visited several sightseeing places like Sand Bath in Ibusuki, Senganen garden and of course Sakura-jima!

To my happiness, they were very excited and enjoyed.

Since Hong Kong is very big city, they prefer things with nature!

I genuinely enjoyed their visit to Kagoshima.

I'm lookin' forward to seein' them next November!

I'm going to participate in an event between Kagoshima and Hong Kong, Singapore by Kagoshima prefecture.
Next November, I'll visit the two countries(?) with my friends on behalf of Kagoshima prefecture. So I have to prepare for that. I think this event worthwhile and experienceable. I'm very looking forward to the trip. Also, some people from Hong Kong visit my prefecture at the end of this month. They'll take care of us while our visiting thier homeland.

Space

When I look up the fine night, I feel the greatness of nature, tiny of me and all the worry I have are gone at once. How good feeling! Though, I rarely watch stars because I have poor eyesight. That’s a shame! I like matters related with space. The more I know about it, the more I’m impressed with a Japanese word “諸行無常” ,which represents the truth of the world, because even the universe never lasts forever. It has the end. Everything will be gone. What a sorrow! So I decided I will do my best in my lifetime. When I die, I want to think I have a marvellous life and have no regrets. Why don’t you look up the night sky should you have any concerns or worry. You will be released into attractive space right away.

A Retrieved Reformation

A Retrieved Reformation by O.Henry, an American famous short story novelist. A man named Jimmy Valentine is an efficient safecracker. Although he is in prison, one of his companies helps him to run away. A detective called Ben, who has once caught him, is seeking the offender. Mr. Valentine, the safecracker, has already begun his job. One day, he goes to a town where he meets a beautiful lady and fall in love at first sight. She is a daughter of a banker. Valentine, whose heart is full of passion, sets out a shoemaker pretending anther guy. After one year, he becomes engaged to her. However, a terminator of their love, the detective Ben is coming. One day her father, the banker, showed his latest safe. –The detective is in the bank- Accidentally, a child is shut in the safe. Oh my goodness! No one can open it – except Jimmy Valentine. He does with his whole skills, knowing the detective is watching. After saving the lovely life, he comes over to Ben, the detective and says “Hello, Ben” but the good guy just replies like this. “Sorry, but I’ve never seen you.” That’s it. How heart-full story! To my ultimate ideal, not to rule people by law, to rule the world by love is the best, I think.

仏検

Sunday, June 22nd/dimanche 22 juin

I had very busy weeks because I had to prepare for a show for an international event, my school's customary speech contest, Eiken and the like. (it's just excuse.)
J'avais des journées occupées pour des préparation du théâtre de manifestation internationale, du discours d'usage de mon école, du Eiken. (mais je seulement m'excuse d'étre paresseux)

I take Futuken, an examination for French language tomorrow.
Je prends un examen de langue Française demain.

Oh my goodness. I don't study enough for the exam. I have to do something, but I can't do anything. I have no time!
Hélas! Je n'étudie rien pour l'examen. Je dois étudier mais je ne peux pas faire quelque chose. Je n'ai plus de temps!

Whatever will be, will be!
Ce qui sera, sera
